Goapele f/ Mos Def – Different (Remix) (Prod. Bedrock)
A dope remix that didn’t make it to Goapele‘s last album, “Change It All”, due to good old industry politics.

This one is for all you Slum Village/ Dilla heads out there! DJ Houseshoes dropped this unreleased joint on Soundwaves KPFK Radio the other day and now thanks to Rappers I Know (via Culture King), the radio rip of this banger is here!
A joint intended for DJ Khaled’s latest album “Victory” that never made it past the cutting room floor, which is honestly a travesty considering the rest of the album wasn’t even close to this good. Regardless, J.Cole goes in on this joint and continues to show why he’s next up! Respect to NahRight on the linkage.
Just spotted several unreleased Kardinal Offishall joints over at HHC (via Hear-It-First.net). My personal favourite is “All Mine” but check out the other 2 joints below as well. “Holla Atchu” seems like the original version of Kardi’s joint with The Dream “Gimme Some” that was on his last album, while “Day Dream” features Kardi on the singin’ tip.

Here’s another joint that did not make it past the cutting room floor from Common’s album “Finding Forever” ! Still curious as to why most of the joints that are leaking now never made it onto the album, especially this one! Props for 2DopeBoyz on the link.

Some unreleased Drizzy to start the week off, once again courtesy of my dude Heinz. Von Pea (of Tanya Morgan) & Phonte (of Little Brother) each lend a verse, while Nottz supplies the heat on the boards. This is apparently circa 2007.

Some smoothed-out Drake, apparently circa 2007. Didn’t know Drake was fuckin’ with J.U.S.T.I.C.E. League since then, but kudos to him if he was because they are undoubtedly one of the hottest production teams today. Linkage courtesy of ATF via EscapeMTL.
Back from vacay and since its almost Christmas, I thought I’d hit y’all with this gem that the homie Lyve hooked me up with! This is the official unreleased remix, circa 2006, to the joint (video above) that really jump-started Tona‘s career. This remix never got much run when it dropped for one reason or another (it being 7 and a half minutes might have something to do with it haha) and I hadn’t even heard it until the homie Lyve sent it recently. Either way, I don’t really need to say much else, the lineup speaks for itself. Stay tuned for my latest installment of “In The Lab” with the homie Lyve, coming just now!
The Game teams up with Busta Rhymes here over this Scott Storch beat, which is a heatrock and these two literally kill this beat! This is one duo I would love to see collab on an entire album together. Shouts to Illy on the link.
And while we’re at unreleased joints spotted by Unkut. This was released by Unkut back in Aug. and featured on the second disc of Dre’s re-release of The Chronic, but I always felt it got kind of overlooked, so here it is again…
