Over the past few months you may have seen a few videos of Toronto producer Memorecks choppin’ it up on the MPC making beats. This time he takes a different approach using the MPD24/Abelton 8 and the results are just as dope.

A few weeks ago, I had the pleasure of hanging out with the homie Saukrates and the chance to meet Redman (who is definitely one hella cool cat) out in Ottawa. That night both gentlemen went on to rock da spot something ferocious, turning the venue into an absolute madhouse. Red went through some mandatory classics like “Tonight’s Da Night”, his verse on “City Lights”, and his verse on “A-Yo” while letting Sauks shine and do some classics of his own, including “Comin’ Up”, “Wednesday”, and more. Stay tuned for more exclusive footage, as the fellas even performed a brand new joint together which is produced by none other than Rich Kidd.

Very creative video for D.O. & Slakah The Beatchild‘s single featuring King Reign from their latest album “Back To Earth”. I’m about to sip some lemonade tonight myself, with some Tanqueray ofcourse. Will probably wake up just like the fellas at the end of the video, dazed and confused.

“Coming from the city of Go-Go, I’ve always loved production inspired by funk. when it comes to funk inspired hip hop, no body does it like the west. While I was on the west producing Trek Life’s album that inspiration went further than being a fan. I don’t know if it was the palm trees, beaches, or burgers but this is what I was making in LA.”Oddisee

DC producer/emcee Oddisee delivers an instrumental album influenced by his stay in LA while producing some tracks for Trek Life‘s new album and decided to drop it as a free download. Seeing as he’s one of the premiere producers in the game, you’d be a fool not to check this out.
