If you needed any motivation to reach Marco Polo’s beat showcase this Saturday at The Great Hall, here it is. Frank Dukes, Rich Kidd, MoSS, Masta Ace, Juju (of The Beatnuts) all talk about why you need to be there and what to expect this Saturday.
For those like myself that couldn’t make it out to the free show on Sunday night, here’s some footage of De La doing their thing and killing it as always. Big shouts to my man Julian for the footage.

“The first full release by Montreal raised producer/songwriter C4 meshes a variety of musical styles into what can only be described as a deliberate assault of conventional mixtapes. Narrated by the academy award winning actor the one and only Christopher Walken, “The C4 Experiment” includes 20 tracks with over 30 urban artists ranging from pioneers such as Choclair, Moka Only, Solitair, JD Era, Rich Kidd, DJ A -Trak, Obscure Disorder’s Troy Dunnit, King Reign, Mayhem Morearty, Theology 3 , The Empire Crew, and D-Sisive.
The C4 Experiment comes fully equipped with interactive website where users are able to browse through Christopher’s supposed salon and interact with the scenery to play the songs. As you enter the boudoir, you’re encouraged to click on books, cameras, paintings, even empty bottles of Jack Danniels as well as other interesting items that have been left behind. By logging onto http://www.imyourproducer.com, users are able to access the interactive environment as well as browse the screening room to view C4’s portfolio made up of digital short films, commercials, beat battle performances as well as a comic book inspired 2 song music video Co-directed and produced by C4 and Ajani Photography.”

After an extended hiatus, we back bitches! Arcee’s secret porn stash revealed, Drake hate, Inzauny origins and more nonsensical rambling. You know how we do.

D.I.T.C member A.G. hooks up with J.Dilla once again and spits that rawness with Party Arty (R.I.P.) on the adlibs. Be on the lookout for more hot shit from A.G., as his new album “Everything’s Berri” will be dropping on June 29, 2010 via Fat Beats.
