Very creative joint from Classified, detailing a deep story involving a fan named Phil Lacroix that he sold a beat to that tragically passed away in a car accident (R.I.P.). Class discusses how he didn’t have the inspiration to rock the beat initially and finding it after learning about Phil’s death. Taken from Classified‘s latest LP, “Self-Explanatory”.
“Drex, co-founder of The Remix Project, tells the stories of two kids who succumb to the negative impacts of the streets in the song “Losing Control.” This eye opening music video Directed by RUIZ of MadRukus Entertainment raises the bar once again for Toronto. “Losing Control” is the first single off of Drex’s newest solo album “City to City”, set to be released this summer – July 2010.“
Not a big fan of posting Youtube links for music but going to make an exception since I have Shad’s “TSOL” in very heavy rotation these days. It is also currently the #2 album on iTunes in Canada. If you need to get a preview of the entire LP before you cop it, check out Spinner’s review here. Also, hit the jump for Shad breaking down some of the joints on the album to the National Post.
The video for this joint dropped not too long ago and now we have the audio for your enjoyment! Eternia connects with Termanology and Reef The Last Cauze on the title track of her upcoming album with Toronto’s own MoSS on the boards and DJ Law on the cuts! Make sure you cop “At Last“, which drops June 29th, 2010 via Fatbeat Records!
