Over the past weekend I had the pleasure to check out the Toronto Hip Hop Pioneers “Women In Canadian Hip Hop” panel discussion. Droppin Dimez hosted this wonderful event with a panel of great aspiring females in the Canadian Urban Industry. The Panel included Hip Hop pioneer Michie Mee, Former Flow host Gemini,  Tara Chase, Flow 93.5′s own JJisJeni, Hip Hop Canada’s Tara Muldoon, Isis of Thunderheist, Lady P (Toronto’s first female emcee) and more. The ladies got into some real interesting topics, such as labels not taking females seriously in the urban industry, the women behind the foundation of Canadian Hip Hop, and more.
