And uh that Beatnuts cut “Strokes” that starts out with all of the grunting and weird noises/laughter? They were trying to re-create the opening seconds of the classic Syl Johnson cut “Different Strokes”.
that’s so great….i’ve also celebrated psycho’s ridiculousness w/ my crew. it misses alot of people, simply because of how well-packaged the beatnuts sound is, but he’s really on the same level as kool keith.
