We wrap up another edition of the New North this week with up and coming producer Lyve. Dude first reached out to us a few years back when he started sending us random remixes and some work he was doing with a crew called Heavyweight. But this year, cats stood up and took notice thanks to his stellar work on “Direct Deposit”, his EP with fellow New North Alumni, Tona. Lyve speaks on his sound, working with Tona and a slew of upcoming projects including a mixtape with DJ Royale, “Payroll”, the follow up to Direct Deposit, and a potential collabo project with Nish Raawks of Monolith fame.
