Spotted over at RapRadar via RosenbergRadio. Personally, I thought it was a solid album, that was plagued by some odd choices from Mos. For example, only spitting 1 verse on “The Embassy”. Another example, including the Spanish joint on there. Nothing against it, but does it really fit with the rest of the album? Another thing I found odd was the # of songs that were under 2 minutes. With that being said, “Casa Bey” & “Auditorium” are two of my favourite songs of the year. What album do you think should be album of the year?
Not prepared to comment on album of the year as yet, but I can say that “The Ecstatic” has been one of the best so far. It’s a bit quirky, but Mos is an eccentric. “Pistola” has got to bemy favourite joint.
Yeah I know we still got a little time to go until the year is over but let’s be real, the contenders are:
