Quite unexpected but certainly welcome in my books. Dame Dash is putting together a rock/hip-hop project featuring a band named The Black Keys on the rock side and contributions from Mos Def, Jim Jones, Pharoahe Monch, Q-Tip, Billy Danze (of M.O.P), and the late great O.D.B. on the hip-hop side. Raekwon also appears in the video but it doesn’t seem like he will be on the album. The project drops Blak Friday, November 27th, 2009. Real talk, I swear I’ve never seen a video in which Jim Jones wasn’t lighting a blunt.
