Shad is a wildcard for the 5th nomination of two categories this year at the MuchMusic Video Awards; “Best New Artist” and “Best Canadian Video”. He needs your support in order to make it in as an official nomination, so take ten seconds and support him if you’re a fan of good music. For me, choosing him in both categories was a no-brainer really, although K-Os did make a solid comeback with his latest LP. Shad‘s verse on our New North joint “Heateration 101″ f/ Famous, Theology 3, Grimace Love, and Tone Mason, might have been my favourite. You’ll get a chance to hear it on iTunes real soon!
