I was perusing through my personal favourite blogs like I do everyday and saw this posted by my mans Kevin Nottingham. First of all, I was very surprised Kev was not mentioned on the list considering he probably owns one of the best original content blogs online. Not sure how someone can win “Music Lover Blog of the Year” at the online hip hop awards, beating out such sites as 2DopeBoyz and NahRight, and yet still be excluded from this list. I’m really interested to know what criteria was considered in making these selections, seeing as a lot of the blogs on that list specialize in the same field (new music) and often provide the same content. Not sure how WSHH got on there as well, seeing as it’s not actually a blog. Also, I have nothing against Kid Cudi’s blog blog?, but doesn’t a blog have to get updated at least a couple of times week for it to be considered?
I was glad to see, however, that our peoples over at The Meaning of Dope, were recognized and listed at the #18 spot! Congrats fellas! With that being said, I’ve compiled a little list of sites I check religiously (no particular order), which you can see after the jump. Let us know who you check out as well!
