Actually the full name of the track is “Wish I Knew Natalie Portman“ and it is the second single from K-Os’ latest LP “Yes!”, which will be available April 14th. Production courtesy of Rich Kidd, who continues to be a major problem on the beats and will be joining us on the New North in two weeks. Also featuring our man Saukrates, who has been putting in some serious work, and the lovely Nelly Furtado! Nuff said.
K-Os f/ Saukrates & Nelly Furtado – Wish I Knew (Prod. Rich Kidd)

I picked up the new album today (it’s out right now, not April 21st)… very musical and different. I really like it, but it’s not for everyone.
Track 1 breaks out the TR-808 sounds over operatic singing… DOPE!

Actually this “Wish I Knew” track is one of the weaker ones…
Wow, really huh, if that’s the case, I really gotta check out the album then. “Zamboni” is sounding tight. K-Os been sounding better than he has in years.
I love the album, and Wish I Knew I think is very strong. Specially Saukrates who we haven’t heard Rap in a very long time, goes in.
Had no idea that Nelly was on it though, I guess that voice was hers
Gotta disagree with the comment about this being the weaker ones. This track is fire. The fact that the hook is still listenable unlike with some rappers who would ruin the sample.
