The wait is over people! We’ve been talking about it for a while and now it’s time for the music to speak for itself.  Props to Arcee on the concept; 16 bars from 16 of Toronto’s nastiest acts over classic beats from the past 16 years! Big shout to Musiklee Inzane and P-Plus on making the mix sound so right! And of course big shout to all of the artists involved; Saukrates, Kardinal Offishall, JD Era, Famous, Tona, Promise, Luu Breeze, Marvel, Mathematik, King Reign, Mayhem Morearty, Empire, IRS, Frankie Payne, Theology 3, and Ski!

Thank you to everyone involved above (as well as mans like Agile, Tink, DJ Grouch on the cuts and Big Sproxx, couldn’t have done it without y’all), our listeners, and blog visitors for making our 16th anniversary extra special! If you are in the Toronto area, come celebrate with us this Saturday at Girls Love Hip-Hop, our monthly party! Check the jump for more info, the track list, and download link!

* Just got to add another credit. Shouts to ParisHil for the artwork. Arcee on the concept once again. – Inzane. Read the rest of this entry »

30 second teaser for the new Transformers movie, which I hope will be much better than the first. Also a teaser for Kid Cudi’s new single, produced by Kanye West.

Video from TiRon’s latest mixtape, Ketchup. Production by SA-RA Creative Partners. I have a feeling between 2000 Till and Girls Love Hip Hop, my weekend will be exactly like this video.
