I’m with Eric Snow on the Al Thornton dunk, not sure how that wasn’t top 3. The Nate block was nasty too.

My man Sean Deez of Kevin Nottingham did some incredible work re-capping the best of the best in 2008, including the best songs, albums, posse cuts, verses, MCs, producers, sleeper albums, breakthrough artists, as well as the most dissapointing albums of the year and the most anticipated albums of 2009.  For the most part, I agreed with most of his selections, with the exception of a few that I had to voice my opinion on.  We brought you the Real Freq Awards, now check out the Real Deez Awards.

I’m kind of late with this, but fuck it (we’ll do it live), this is for everybody who didn’t already grab this! Rich Kidd is without a doubt one of the hottest producers coming out of The T-Dot. We look forward to having him come through on the New North to bless us with some exclusives like the latest joint he did for Busta Rhymes and Billy Danze (of M.O.P.), but until then this mixtape should hold you over (ill cover by the way). Ridiculous lineup of guest appearances from T Dot’s finest, including Saukrates, Kardinal Offishall, Drake, Promise, Tona, Ayah, Andreena Mills, Mayhem Morearty, Cali Snipes, Richie Sosa, & more! Hit the jump for the track list and link.
