On his recent stop in Toronto to promote his album The Death of Adam Arcee did some diggin’ with producer 88-Keys. We get his thoughts on his record, among other things. You gotta love A’s interview style here, diggin’ and interviewing, multi-tasking, is not his forte.

people might get on me for being focused on my crates but sheeeeeeeit…..i got there ahead of time, i was in the zone when 88 showed up for the interview…so it was almost like he was interrupting my digging….even though I had scheduled the interview at the record store…i only did that so I could go diggin’…..
LOL @ Kid Coodi, nice job AR, although you might need some multi-tasking training from P-Plus aka Mr. Text while I DJ.
that’s cause he got 8 hands….octoplus….hollerate
that one beat playing around the 11:30 mark sounds tremendous. Great interview, real unique and real dope.
This type of shit is quality and necessary. Keep banging em out, seriously. Arcee, I don’t know if I can keep up with your sprint while I’m still speed walking around these crates.
Thanks Deez. We also happen to feel that this type of shit is quality and necessary. Shout out to Jay at Koch for making shit happen in spite of hip hop….
Yo, 88 gives some good digging tips here. I know for myself, like 88 when I go digging I look at the album cover more than anything. Sometimes after you’ve been digging for a while you can just look at a record and say to yourself “Oh man, this is it!”. Props to 88 for showing people his digging secrets.
Hollerate!
