Yezzzir, installment #2 of Unlocking The Vault! This week, I got Elzhi’s unreleased album that was supposed to come out on Capitol Records around the 2000-2002 era. The quality of the rip is not great because it is unmastered and the source CD actually had some skips on it, but the quality of the music is phenomenal! My favourite joints are “Walk Down Memory Lane”, “Palm Trees, Passion Fruit (Prod. J Dilla)”, “Feel This (feat. Dwele)”, and “Not Born To Lose”. If this ever comes out, go out and cop it to support Elzhi and keep real hip-hop alive.
Also, look out for Elzhi’s new project “The Prologue” on July 29th, which will feature the songs leaked on the “Euro Pass” mixtape, as well as even more new material! I personally can’t wait!
